What is Yearbook Club?
In this club students are in charge of the production, organization, and distribution of the EBHS yearbook. Students will design, promote, and sell copies of the yearbook. Additionally students will come up with ideas for content that can be included in the yearbook.
Attendance Policy: You must attend at least one meeting every month for your designated position. We will meet twice a week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in room A-2. Mandatory meetings are the first Tuesday of the month. (Students involved with layout may meet more frequently.)
Yearbook Job Descriptions:
Layout Artists: A select group of individuals who are committed to designing and laying out pages of the yearbook. Layout artists will be working with a program called Edesign and will receive basic training by the yearbook advisors. As deadlines approach, layout artists may have to meet multiple times per week.
Photographers: These students will be tasked with the job of photographing various school events. Photographers may also have to interview students and take their pictures after the interview has been completed. For this position, we are looking for social individuals who would be able to approach people. We will need photographs of students participating in clubs and events.
Photo Editors: This job involves selecting, editing, uploading, and tagging photos. Photo editors may also be required to contact other EBHS students to ask for personal photographs for specific stories.
Social Media Specialist: In this position, it is your job to create and manage the Yearbook Club twitter account. You must keep the twitter account up-to-date with important due dates and you will have to post surveys.
Survey Response Collector: This duty requires the survey collector to ask EBHS students survey questions and obtain their responses for sections throughout the yearbook. Information must be obtained and shared along with a photograph of the person who was surveyed.
Senior Content Committee: This committee will meet to discuss layout ideas and content concepts mainly in regards to senior-related content. Students will also be required to write articles for the yearbook.
Underclassmen Content Committee: This committee will meet to discuss layout ideas and content concepts mainly in regards to underclassmen content. Students will also be required to write articles for the yearbook.
